A rarity in this day and age, Hunt's Photo is a regional chain that is both well stocked and has a knowledgeable staff of consultants. The flagship store in Melrose contains anything you could possibly want in photo and optical equipment. Plus, the staff at all the stores I've visited have been more than willing to help me out with technical questions and concerns.
These folks are a pleasure to deal with all- around! Their technical recommendations are superior and the sales support is exceptional. I do not deal with any other photography equipment dealer after starting to do business with Hunt's Photo and Video about 2 years ago. I am an avid amateur photographer and I know professional photographers that say the same thing!
I cannot say enough about the staff here at Hunts. Whether you're a beginner or a professional photographer, they make themselves available to answer any questions you may have about photography. Courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. What more can you ask for?
